For the past 20 years, Eric J Hertz has been proud to give back to the legal community through speaking engagements, legal seminars, and mentoring. Mr. Hertz continues to share his insights and has scheduled a number of upcoming events.
On September 6th, at the State Bar of Georgia, Mr. Hertz is chairing ICLE’s first Nursing-Home Litigation Seminar. This seminar will offer 6 CLE hours, including 1 ethics hour, 1 professionalism hour, and 5.5 practice hours. The seminar will feature a number of nationally renowned nursing-home attorneys. Topics include Long-Term Care Issues, Nursing-Home Regulations, Plaintiff and Defense Discovery Perspectives, Connecting With Jurors On Damages, Ethics in Litigation, Opening Statements, Dealing With Bill and Liens, and Professionalism in Mediation and Arbitration.
On September 13th, at the State Bar of Georgia, Mr. Hertz is chairing ICLE’s 20-plus years program on Punitive Damages. This seminar will offer 6 CLE hours including, 0.5 hours for ethics and 5.5 practice hours. Many locally renowned and national speakers will cover topics including Punitive Damages in Assault and Battery Cases, Anatomy of a Bad-Faith Trial, Punitive Damage Arguments That Work, Punitive Damages in Nursing-Home Cases, Punitive Damages in Trucking Cases, Punitive Damages in Dog Bite Cases, and Punitive Damages in Medical Malpractice Cases.
